We would like to invite you to listen to a new episode of qradio – our
queerfeminist radio show live from Mytilini, Lesvos.
As last week we had to struggle with many technical problems we are very
happy to meet with our guest Libertad from Brazil again. Together we
want to speak about the recent events around the 8th of March as an
international day for womens* rights that reminds us to smash patriarchy
anywhere and anytime. Closely linked to this is a feminist movement in
Brazil, that arose because of Marielli Franco, a peripheral, lesbian,
black feminist politician and human rights activist from Brazil, who was
murdered in 2018. Also we will talk about the political situation in
Brazil, where people are fighting the oppressing and racist politics of
Bolsonaro and his cabinett, which is also directly affecting the freedom
of movement of people, who are migrating to Brazil.
And of course there will be a lot of amazing MUSIC…!
